The Project
Sling Theory is a unique blog about hip-hop culture. They hired me to build a uniquiely designed socially integrated website.
My Role
Structure, design, and build a SlingTheory.com which should encompass an underground hip-hop feel. Latest posts were required to be easily browsable on the front page, and socially linkable.
The Approach
The challenge with SlingTheory was migrating a great deal of existing posts from other platforms into the existing platform. This was done succssfully without any loss. I decided to get very creative with transitional CSS on many of the hover elements, which adds to the unique feel. The design receives many praises from the client and among the community.
